A sealed 10-year battery means there’s nothing to forget, replace, or maintain. The alarm is operational from the day it’s installed until the day it needs to be replaced — typically at the 10-year mark. CAVIUS alarms also perform an annual chamber sensitivity calibration to ensure detection accuracy is maintained throughout the alarm’s lifetime.
All CAVIUS battery alarms use built-in RF technology to communicate with each other. To link a new alarm into an existing system, simply activate the Link mode on the alarm — the process takes less than a minute and requires no tools, apps, or internet connection. Once linked, activating any one alarm in the system will trigger all others to sound.
